Pdf Image problems

Making up some flyers for a local installfest here and I'm running
into problems with a pdf. I have a GIF image imbedded in the pdf but
when I go to print the lab printer here will not print the image. I'm
not sure if it is a problem with the pdf exporter in openoffice.org2
or acroread or the network printer itself. It is a black and white
laser printer with low resolution capabilities.
