Thanks. Yes I too came across this, but it doesn't say whether you can
do without it and disable it.  It refers to a bug which, in RH, was
fixed last November in gamin-0.0.17-1.i386.rpm 12-Nov-2004.  It's not
clear what the Ubuntu situation is: I have 0.0.26-0ubuntu3.  I assume
this is a different segfault?
