WineX : installing from CVS ?

OK, I guess I spoke too soon.
I tried the instructions, getting it from CVS and got the exact same
error. Plus, the cvs.transgaming.org web site is currently down for
maintenance.
I googled a bit and found this:

After you select the link for Cedega / WineX, then agree to the
license terms, you get to a page with four different versions of RPMs.
They mention that the versions from CVS are unstable at the moment,
and ask you to email if you get something to work on your system.
Four versions is a bit to try, so I haven't yet, but maybe you can
report on progress.
