I have no idea about novell, but "man mount" tells me a few things about
ncpfs. Having no idea about ncpfs, I have no idea how to apply them
though :)

Are you sure that FILESERVER/USERNAME is the correct way to specify the
volume? Emil Oppeln-Bronikowski wrote in another mail in this thread:
"Network devices must have Hostname, IP or NetBIOS name. When I mount
NFS I have to xx.yy.zz.cc:/home/emil/eksport. When I mount Samba share I
do //Fretka/stuff." And I'd expect something similar for ncpfs.
