Grub problem after hibernate

The only option I changed from the default grub was setting the
splashimages function, but I did that a while ago, and it worked well with
that change (I didn't get a splashimage, but the menu still worked fine). 

I've checked that in fact there is a timeout set to 10.
I'll try reinstalling the deb and see if that helps.
