No network after installing Hoary

i had a similar problem when i installed hoary, so i set a static ip
and waited, for about 5 or 10 minutes while the light on my router
just blinked repeatedly... then it came on and now my internet works
just fine. i'm sure that doesn't help you, but try setting a static ip
and just keep pinging hostnames you know until it starts to work, or
you pull out all your hair... :)
