xorg i810: tv-out on PAL-TV (Composite

Hello Ubuntu-world!

I'm writing this through gmane, so I hope this Mail isn't broken.

I recently discovered that the vga- and svideo-ports on my laptop do
actually work, with the help from this wonderful xorg-configuration from a
gentoo-guy: http://filebox.vt.edu/users/jlido/linux/linux-m35x.html

So, basically, LFP with CRT does work (w and w/o xinerama), the same for
LFP with TV (slightly modified for PAL-Output instead of NTSC). The only
problem is that my TV doesn't support SVideo - I have an adapter SVideo
<-> SCART, and the TV only supports Composite. The result is that the
Picture on TV is b/w, not color.

Long story short question:
Is there any possibility to tell the i810-driver to send Composite instead
of SVideo? With nvidia-cards, this is a painless little option in nvtv
("Convert"), but I wasn't able to find the right solution yet for the
i810-driver (the card is actually an Intel 855 GM on-board chip).

Any help or hint would really be appreceated :)
