screen resolution

hi;

i'm a new user of ubuntu linux warty. i've successfully installed ubuntu warty
and it works fine. my only complain is that i don't get the correct screen
resolution. my actual screen resolution is 800*600 but i can only get either
1024*768 or 600*400 only, even when i select screen resolution 800*600 it doesnt
show the correctly. i'm using nvidia vanta display card.

any advice is welcomed.
