Yes, let's fork already ! It has been out for 6 months, it's about time
people ! (/sarcasm)

Of course he is the "dictator", it's his money, he runs the show. I
have no problem with this; he is a businessman, and it's in his
interest to turn out a distro that's in line with users' wishes - the
progress so far testifies to this. And if you're right, and he really
is supporting Ubuntu to fund alien satanists to take over earth and
clone us all, we'll do what linuxers have always done: find a new
distro, or fork it !
