Some good control version?

I will probably get shot for this but I have been testing out
http://www.darcs.net/ it hs its pluses and minuses like everything
else. I'll try to list a few of each from my personal experience.
Pluses:
super easy to use
great concept of patches
100% distributed repositories
can update repos using plain ssh, email, filesystem path
Minuses:
performance (developers are working on this now)
written in haskell (size of developer community may not grow because of this)
easy to install if your distro has a binary for ghc and darcs (I think
ubuntu does)
runs on linux, win, and mac
Wierd how everyone is looking for a good version control software
these days. I was mainly looking for cross platform, 100% distributed
and simple to use. I hope performance will improve. Personally, the
jury is still out on haskell. As long as the tool makes me more
productive, I am all for it.
I think it all comes down to personal preference.
