There are debs available here:
http://archive.daniel-baumann.ch/debian/packages/gproftpd/
http://archive.daniel-baumann.ch/debian/packages/gdhcpd/
I haven't tried them myself, and I didn't find an apt repository on his
site containing those packages, but it might be nicer than compiling.
