xmms cover viewer

hi,
I have the latest Kubuntu(hoary) and there is an odd error i noticed
recently when i tried to enable the xmms coverviewer from the plugins
menu. xmms crashes and the error i get is this..

xmms: relocation error:
/usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf/loaders/libpixbufloader-bmp.so: undefined symbol:
g_try_realloc

Anyone else facing the same problems ? Anyone know how to fix it ?
