xfree-common error

hi

i have been upgrading several programs and libraries and now i am 
getting an error in synaptics with the xfree-common. I am not sure why i 
have this installed since it is not marked as part if ubuntu, so i guess 
i have installed it while doing an stupid mass upgrade of few libraries.

I am not sure how to solve this. Should i uninstall it? It then wants to 
uninstall some x11 libraries...

any hints? thanks
