I suspect something has changed in terms of one of the module
dependencies; in particular I suspect the version of the DB_File or
Net::DNS perl modules has broken backwards compatibility in some
way. Could you post the output of "spamassassin -D --lint"?
Also I would check the output of "spamassassin --lint", too, to see if it
complains about any errors in your ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs. (it'll be
easier to read that without the -D debug output.)
I'd be happy to help you work this out -- I'm one of the developers
of SpamAssassin, I'm using it on Hoary just fine, and seeing as Ubuntu
aren't supporting it natively I consider it a challenge ;)
