xorg problem - display just quit

hi list. i'm using hoary, and left this morning to run some errands. i
got home and moved my mouse to disable xscreensaver (which is nothing
but blank screen) and it wouldn't come back. i hit ctrl-alt-backspace
and then gdm restarted and everything was fine. i just wondered if
anyone else has experienced this or if i should even be concerned.
