Yep, would love to use Hoary, to keep up to date with things and hence
make my life easier, but sadly Hoary still has one big problem on my
machine : TV card doens't work properly anymore, and no way to figure it
out, it's detected properly, 'dmseg' outputs exactly the same messages
as Warty, but the TV apps (whatever the app, tried many!), have problems
controlling the tuner.
So it's either the kernel, kernel module/driver, or just a layer above
that, as the symptoms are common to all TV apps, so it must be pretty
low level in the "stack" so to speak, but where...

If I can get the drive working in Hoary, maybe I will make lots of
efforts to get the TV card working, so that I can switch to hoary for
normal use, and remove Warty.
