5.04 PPC install problem - multiseat

Installing 5.04 on an older slot loading iMac DV (400mhz), and the
install gives the big read error screen after selecting languages and
detecting network.  It says that there is a problem creating a
multi-seat system.

Anyone else getting this?  Open Firmware is the latest from Apple.
