Hi Colin,
great idea, but if possible could something be included on desktop
re : help. I have a couple of people who have old slow machines that it
could be installed on, but they will probably never move up to getting
internet access, so help for them is almost non existant, as is
installing new
applications.
Have made up a simple help your welcome to use/modify, am adding to it
bit by bit

Most only need a window manager(Icewm) a word procesor and the Gimp.
I had been thinking of trying to make up a cd with applications like
Icewm, etc,
but most exist on the Ubuntu CD anyway,Icewm, x-window-system Gimp etc.
Just a matter of telling the install that,
custom(Warty)install, plus needed applications, or am I over
simplifying, am a newbie.
