Call for testers: Xfce 4.2.1.1 in Ubuntu Hoary Universe [from Xfld]

You may be interested to know that I eliminated the spurrious generation
of ~/.xsession-errors in my install of xfce4. According to my messages,
it concerned the xscreensacer. An "xscreensaver" error message was
generated at every single launch of any application in my system. I
traced the prob to /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc (normally arounf lines
64-65)::
# Launch xscreensaver (if available), but only as non-root user
test $UID -gt 0 -a -z "$VNCSESSION" && xscreensaver -no-splash &

There is someking of error in that line..., ot in the
mcs-manager-plugins script concerning the xscreensaver. So for now, I
hashed that line out and that stopped the generation of error msgs.

As far as sound events for GNOME apps go -- I am working on that
methodologically. If I find a solution,I'll let everyone know.
