Running Gaim when my system starts

One way to do this is close all your programs, launch gaim, and save
your session when logging out of Gnome.

One other way is to go to the session manager
(system->preferences->sessions) and add it as a program to start upon
starting gnome.

But with both options, gaim would be started even if you are not
connected to internet :)
