Bravo and well said. Computers have lost their mystique, their mystery; 
to many they are simply just another everyday tool. I agree that we must 
have a base knowledge of computers, just as we need a base knowledge of 
other tools. We should not, however, need the software schematics in 
order to pursue everyday computing tasks, such as reading e-mail or 
viewing a Web page. That said, there is a place for the person who 
desires to know more than the basics about her computer. Vive la differance.
