Ah, so the functionality is already there then ! Good. :-)
Now they just need integrate it in xpdf/gpdf so that we can just select
images or text with the mouse and copy/paste it...
That would go a long way towards making it a viable alternative to
Acrobat.

The other thing that it lack from Acrobat, is a better featured printing
facility. FOr example you cant print on both sides (even/odd pages), and
you can't print several pages on one page. These two feature are
vital/mandatory for me whenever I want to print a big PDF
manual/datasheet on the laser printer, to make the printed manual as
compact as possible, and save on printing/paper costs and print time.
