installing full ubuntu system after choosing "custom"

My school (Stuyvesant High School in Manhatten, NY, USA) also uses 
Linux on most of its computers.  They don't run Ubuntu though, but they 
do run Debian.  It may not look as polished, but it teaches the same 
:).  There are also a few that run MacOS X, and a few that run the evil 
Windows.
