Downloading a deb file from one of Ubuntu's repository and installing it on more than one system

 Everything you have installed on your system sits in 
/var/cache/apt/archives until you remove it with apt-get clean. If you 
want to donwload something without installing it call apt-get with -d 
option. It will download package without installing it.
