Warty to Hoary migration?

Thanks to all who replied; i'm backing up files as we speak!
I will definitely be adding this recipie to my Linux cookbook, with
one small modification:

This, for some reason, gave me a permission denied error, despite
proper sudo access and password. "sudo nano" took a few extra seconds
to type in the same information and worked without fail.
