Bluetooth addresses changing

Dear all,

First off, I'm very happy with the Ubuntu project.

I'm trying to pair my treo 650 to a Sony Vaio laptop running Ubuntu
Hoary with a Dlink USB Bluetooth dongle. Sometimes, I can discover the
phone and pair it and make simple connections.

Here's the strange thing: when I run 'hcitool scan', it shows a couple
of devices (from colleagues in the building I guess) as well as my
treo, but when I issue the command a minute later, the addresses
change often.

So first it will give me
00:bb:bb:bb:bb:bb DeviceA
00:bb:bb:bb:bb:bb DeviceB
00:cc:cc:cc:cc:cc Treo

and then a minute later it will give
00:bb:bb:bb:bb:bb DeviceB
00:bb:bb:bb:bb:bb Treo
00:cc:cc:cc:cc:cc DeviceA

I have NO idea what's going on, but it seems to be serious issue,
since I want to make a connection to the same device all the time.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Thanks, Henk
