Converting an ex-Win GNUbie; advice/links?

Gnome Support seems to be an likely candidate

Gnome Files is good to get your head around the alphabet soup

But the ubuntu form is very active and I think it can answere most if not all
of his questions, because often answeres are distribution releated.
There is also Ubuntu Down Under comming 25 - 30 April in Sydney.
He can bring his computer so they can take alook at it. There are also LUGs.
Most of linux user are ex Microsoft users so it should be a big leap to
understand problems about migrating.
