Hi,
i want to get jbuilder running, but everything i try
results in Failures.
I have the jdk 5.0 for amd64 installed and $JAVA_HOME
set.
I use Hoary.
1. Install jbuilder 2005 for Linux results in:
Launching installer...
grep: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
current locale is not supported in X11, locale is set to CX locale modifiers
are not supported, using defaultInvocation of this Java Application has
caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)
Stack Trace:
java.lang.InternalError: Current locale is not supported
...
2. Installing jbuilder 2005 with a virtual machine set:
./install.bin LAX_VM /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_02/bin/java
results in:
error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared

3. Jbuilder X results in:
current locale is not supported in X11, locale is set to CX locale modifiers
are not supported, using defaultInvocation of this Java Application has
caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)
Stack Trace:
java.lang.InternalError: Current locale is not supported
4. Jbuilder X with VM set runs fine through, but
when i try to start it i get:
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
5. I copied an old version of 2005 which i installed and run
on fc3 to a locale directory, when i try to start it i get:
current locale is not supported in X11, locale is set to CX locale modifiers
are not supported, using default
JBuilder 2005 Foundation

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Current locale is not
supported
I tried everything with the blackdown jdk 1.4.2 for
amd 64 and a normal 1.4.2 for i586 (or i386).
Maybe somebody can help me
getting Jbuilder running, this is the only
resason for me to start windows.
By the way, eclipse works fine.
Greetings
