Solving the Mystery Log Out problem.

Mystery Log Outs!
When I come back to work I find my computer at the Hoary Hedgehog "log
in screen." I even had this happen during the day today.
However the computer screen saver was running and I suspect that my :

little HP eVectra's 4 MB video is no match for the newer screen saver. 

On the other hand I could be wrong about that.

Any suggestions on where to look for the cause of this would be appreciated.
