Looking at gnomefiles.org, there 4 apps available, but only two of them
are Gnome apps : Gnucash and Grisbi.

- Gnucash is very complex, mature and in constant development, while
- Grisbi is very simple/intuitive (that's what I have been using for a
year now) but still needs a bit of work, which is the problem because
development, although not stopped officially, is so slow that it's
almost dead.

I keep hoping that someone will volunteer to resume work on Grisbi, but
over the months, since nothing happens, I am losing faith :o(
So I hope that Gnucash will soon be ported to GTk2, and I will have to
sit down for hours and learn how to use it.
Once it's ported to Gtk2, would be great if it could become part of the
default Ubuntu install, as everyone has an account and needs to use it.
You may not use Gimp or Rhythmbox, but it's hard to live without a bank
account these days...
