What are you talking about? In 21 years of computer use (12 of 'em) I
have *never* had a Microsoft operating system running my computer.
100% MS OS free 100% of the time.

Granted, I have had DOS and Win 98 as "guest" OSes in Virtual PC but
never, not ever has Microsoft operating system code directly sullied
one of my CPUs (I've lived and died by Word (1.05a; 1984) and Excel
(3.0; 1989?), but, since those two apps were born and perfected on Mac
loooong before they were even a twinkle in MS' i86 eye that's Ok ;-)
(I still maintain that Excel 4 and Word 4 are the *last* notable
examples of progress to come out of the word processor/spread sheet
world... everything since has been 'featuritis' for the sake of
charging upgrade taxes).

Eric.
