Yes,
I found this too.
I discovered that it seems to install itself to the wrong place. If you
open the install file and get the Adobe folder and copy it to /usr/lib
then symlink the Adobe/Acrobat7.0/bin/acroread to /usr/bin then
functionality is as expected.
