Xfce and Firefox

xfdesktop uses sensible-browser, which is a Perl script.  You can export
the BROWSER environment variable.

The other issues are completely foreign to me, though we're still
chasing the "undefined symbol in xfce4_desktop_menu.so" issue with
upstream.
