Having trouble installing bzflag program on my ubuntu linux

That will give you version 1.10.  He was trying to install version 2.0.2:

I have never played the game, so I don't know if ver1 vs ver2 is a big
difference.


But if someone is willing to take the risk of mix "distro", debian has
2.0.2 already packaged in a deb file:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/games/bzflag
