If you don't use GNOME, sure. But the clock applet, installed with
gnome-panel uses evolution-data-server to check your todo list and
appointments. I don't recall which applet use it.

Anyway, I think it is safer to keep evolution-data-server (but you can
remove contact-lookup-applet).
