[Hoary] DMA still not on by default. Hardware DB, Can I help?

That's a different issue, and the workaround is no longer necessary since
hdparm 5.8-1ubuntu3.
It shouldn't be necessary to use hdparm at all; DMA should be automatically
enabled where it works. That is the bit which will require time and data
collection.
