Hej
I have just installed my MythTV box.
I used a VIA EPIA M10000 board, and did a plain Hoary installation on it.
Then I added MythTV and MPlayer and such, until everything works fine on
my computer screen.
When I moved the computer to the TV (used the RCA output), it started up
nicely on the TV. But as soon as I showed a Photo (MythGallery), or
played a recorded Movie (Avi, or mpg) the color got really distorted,
like the red colord did not exist anymore, as well as the picture got
slightly distorted also. When I exited MythTV I found that the Gnome GUI
had been color distorted as well.
I have tried to google, and based upon the result from that tried
different mplayer options with -vo (xv, x11, xover, fdev, fdev2, vesa,
svga, gl, gl2 and directfb) but either same distorted picture, or
mplayer bails out due to non existing driver.
I am a bit baffled, since GNOME looks fine, and MythTV starts up nicely.
Do I need to have a special xorg.conf for the TV?
Anything else I have missed?
Thanks in advance
/Bengt
