install report ibm x31 Ubuntu 5.04 RC

Hello All,

i had previously installed a warty that i  dist-upgraded  to hoary but i 
was having persistent problems with suspend memory/disk and a conflict 
with my ipw2100 wifi card and the hotplug firmware loader scripts.

i just reinstall the 5.04 RC and what can i say , *everything* is 
perfect ! Suspend to ram  and suspend to disk work flawlessly. The 
ipw2100 driver (1.0.2) now accepts the firmware download and is 
initialized after a suspend / hibernate / reboot event.

The only hardware interfaces i have not tested are the firewire port (i 
need some sort of dongle to plug my ipod into it) and the irda port.

I have submitted my hardware configuration to the "Ubuntu Device 
Database" which appears to be functioning now.
