I think the ubuntu community can a learn a couple things about
documentation and overall availability of helpful information by
looking to the gentoo community.
I ran gentoo as my distro of choice for quite awhile (until recently
being bit by the ubuntu bug), and rarely, if ever, did I need to look
farther than gentoo.org or forums.gentoo.org for any information about
linux in general or gentoo in particular.
As a matter of fact, I still utilize their forums even now, running
ubuntu, for answers to my questions.
They have a great community over there. I believe the same thing can
be accomplished here, as distribution has something special, it feels
almost like home.
