NIC and SATA doesn't work on nForce Pro board

I'm trying to install Ubuntu on a DK8N Opteron board (nForce3 Pro 250). I
was using the warty AMD64 daily build for 9/27 or so.

The network adaptor is not dectected. The forcedeth driver seems to work
though.

The SATA controller is also not detected. In the log I see messages about
NFORCE3-250 PATA controller but I don't see the normal NFORCE3-250-SATA
messages.

That brings up a point about the partitioning. When there are no detected
drives on the system the partition menu doesn't make any sense because
there are no drives listed. Very confusing.

Ubuntu is excellent by the way. Debian has been my favorite Linux distro
for years and Ununtu adds a nice polish to the whole thing. I especially
like how it doesn't install 100's of applications in the Application menus
and such. It's much more friendly than any other Linux distro in that
respect, I actually use the menus in Ubuntu (it's more like Windows in
that way; a good thing).

I was able to boot into Knoppix and run lspci. I don't know if it matters
that it is only 32-bit. The SATA controller does work in Knoppix by the
way (the forcedeth driver does not).
