i am running ubuntu3 and after installing an extension i get this
message at the next restart:
*** loading the extensions datasource
*** nsExtensionManager::_finishOperations - failure, catching
exception so finalize window can close [Exception... "Component
returned failure code: 0x80520006
(NS_ERROR_FILE_TARGET_DOES_NOT_EXIST) [nsIFile.copyTo]"  nsresult:
"0x80520006 (NS_ERROR_FILE_TARGET_DOES_NOT_EXIST)"  location: "JS
frame :: file:///usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/components/nsExtensionManager.js
:: nsInstalledExtensionReader__parseLine :: line 841"  data: no]

in the extensions menu the extension still shows up as "this item will
be installed
after you restart firefox"

i tried this with both the "venkman" and the "checky" extension.

 chris
