Can't start Gnome anymore after an upgrade

I think i found what's stopping gnome to load, i did two things:

1) stoped sound server to start on startup. (compuer/desktop
preferences/sound).
2) I've previously unloaded snd-pcm-oss and snd-seq-oss , in
/etc/modules . so I've loaded them again.

When i restarted my gnome starts normally :)
