Error executing apps. as root

Hi

I got a error when I execute all applications that need root privileges 
(i.e. synaptic).

I wait for over 7 seconds and get a window with this error:
"Failed to run /usr/sbin/synaptic as user root:
 Proceso hijo termino con el estado 1"

I've set spanish language, but it means child process ended with status 1.

I changed root password by using sudo passwd and I can execute these 
apps by exporting display and executing xhost + LOCAL: always as user root.
