Skype is not free software

I beg to differ. Skype is absolutely free. If you paid for it, you have
been conned. I have been using this excellent product for well over year
both in its standard P2P mode and with the newer SkypeOut service for
calling landlines and mobile phones. I have nothing but praise for it
and would definitely recommend its use to others.
That's my 4 cents worth.
Oh, and while I am at it, a huge thanks to the Ubuntu team for all their
hard work both with this quality distro and with the the ongoing user
support.
Yours,
One very happy AndyJ.
