Printing problem

Hello,
I am writing these lines to appreciate the philosophy of Ubuntu. I feel proud to use this program.
As a beginner I had no difficulty at all to install Ubuntu. The only problem I am faceing now is that I can not use my printer.
I use a multifunction device, hp OfficeJet G85. Ubuntu has detected the device on usb and other details seem to be correct yet I can not print anything. And It seems that the scanner feature of the hp is not recognized any way.
Are appropriate drivers already on the installation CD or do I have to supply drivers from somewhere else?
