install success on hp compac nc8000

Installation via netboot miniiso went smooth, the internal broadcom
(tg3) configured correctly via dhcp, no questions was asked about the
X setup, right resolution was picked (1400x1050), configured all 3
mice devices (pin?, pad and external usb mouse). Audio worked
automagically. Added an 3c575 into the pcmcia port just to see if the
pcmcia was working, no problems.

No problems with spinning cdrom/dvd (as some has reported).

Untested: onboard atheros wifi and firewire
Not working: internal sd-card reader (not ubuntu specific)

Thanks for a great dist that from my pov has everything needed already.
(except an rss reader in main;)
