grub installer failing on jfs during basic install script

At least as far as XFS goes, it appears to be a race condition.
Sometimes you get lucky and it works without a problem: you may never be
able to reproduce the problem on a given machine. Sometimes you'll be
unlucky, and there seem to be machines where it never shows up.

As yet, as far as I know, there's been no full diagnosis of the problem
in Debian.
