This is a stated feature goal of Hoary (the next release), and X.Org
packages will appear in the Hoary tree while it's in development -- look
for some awesome (and possibly interesting!) X packages in the next
couple of months. :)

It's worthnoting that our XFree86 packages are hardly 4.3; last I
checked, we were just squeezing over 300,000 lines of patches to the
original 4.3.0.  This includes the upcoming nVidia driver backport, and
substantial additions of support to the ATI driver, including r4xx
support.
