Ubuntu installation CD not booting

Hi,

I've today downloaded and burned the current (daily) CD, but I seem to have run into a wee problem: I simply can't get the CD to boot - the only thing which happens is that a message flashes on the screen to fast for me to read it...

My system is a Packard Bell iExtreme 733MHz, 80 GB HDD only with linux, 512 MB RAM, TNT2 16MB nVidia videocard.

So, I would be very glad for any suggestions. Until then, I'm stuck in Fedora hell - without any USB plug and play for my Panasonic DMZ-FZ2 camera :-(
