How do I install from the LiveCD

I don't know if I'm missing something obvious here, but how do I 
install Ubuntu from the LiveCD?

I didn't find anything in the System tools menu, and I looked for 
commands starting with "kno" and "mor" in a root shell without any luck.

The Morphix docs say that there should be an icon on the desktop for 
installing to the hard disk, but I don't have that.
